Since 1998, GGB has been a competent and valued partner in the field of child and youth welfare and operates 19 foreign language day care centers. All of these bilingual facilities are located in the districts of Zwickau, Erzgebirgskreis, Mittelsachsen and Leipziger Land.
The outdoor area is shared by the school and the after-school care center. This includes a football field and a climbing frame embedded in gravel with two swings. Furthermore, our facility has a large sandbox with a sun awning and a seesaw. The school garden with small flower beds and a tool shed is also located in the grounds. Two wooden houses, where the children can retreat, are also part of it. Two seating areas with two tables and four benches offer the children the opportunity to be creative. Sufficient shade is provided by two large sunshades set in concrete. A small wooden house houses all the playground equipment. Trees, flowerbeds and meadow contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. Around the entire playground is a small concrete wall with green colored seats.
The premises of the after-school care center are located in the school and are partly shared. In the basement there is an experiment room, which can also be used by us. There are information boards for parents and children at the staircase on the first floor. There are two classrooms on the first floor, which also serve as group rooms.
The dining room and kitchen are located on the same level. The freshly cooked lunch is delivered by the school's own kitchen in Meerane and eaten in the school's dining room.
